I lost a 24 year-old son in August of 2008 to bipolar disorder. Not directly, of course, but due to conditions brought about by the disorder. Recurring themes will be the deadly condition that is bipolar disorder, my son Ryan, and grief. But it's primarily a personal journal to help me deal with all of the above, and life in general.

I hold down a career as a Business Analyst. Interested in music, my kid's sports and music activities, and also camping and fishing. We have 2 beagles, Ryley (named by Ryan) and Charlie. No grandchildren (yet), but 2 boys marrying within the next 2 years, and they've brought us wonderful girls.
